UPDATE:

I just happened to be surfing the web when I came across an article about Florida's "Stand Your Ground Law", posted on Yahoo.  I was following along until I read the LAST paragraph, when it made reference to George Zimmerman. It stated that this case was primarily about George Zimmerman who is a white Hispanic, and Trayvon Martin who is black.

HOLD ON!!!!!!  I remember Mr. Zimmerman a few weeks after he was arrested stating that he was NOT racist; that he had blacks in his own family.  Just a few days ago, it was finally reported that his Grandfather was; indeed, black.

Now, forgive me if I'm wrong-hasn't it ALWAYS been the rule (by the WHITE establishment) that if there was just ONE DROP of black blood in your lineage, you were considered BLACK!!!!????? Look at Carol Channing: she FINALLY admitted, before she died, that she herself was black. She admitted that her grandfather was black. She'd admitted that she was too afraid to tell anyone because she could have possibly been passed over for roles in the theater/movie industry.

I'm sorry...I see Mr. Zimmerman's sudden cry: "I can't be racist, I have blacks in my family" as a ploy for our sympathy.  Funny how he hasn't been quick to correct the media and set the record straight. He seems to want to play both sides of the fence.  If he wants us to swallow his defence of the "Stand Your Ground" Law, as his right as an American citizen, then he should ALSO defend the honor of his grandfather by owning up to his true heritage.

For me, he holds no credibility. If he's not honest enough to tell the world the truth about who he actually is, then what else is he willing to lie about?
